Vane type mist eliminators are typically used to handle large volume of flow of gas which reduces the overall sizing of the vane pack & With large open area available in  the vane pack technically it is used where large droplets of liquid is required to be separated at the same time with new patterns and designs vane pack mist eliminators can provide very high separation efficiency also on some applications.

The corrugation and alignment of mist eliminators plays a critical part in the separation process and the more you create obstruction on the blades the more the separation happens.
